Strand Framing
How To Guide
Before Ordering
To make ordering as simple as possible we ask you for the image/picture size. Please use a measuring tape or ruler when measuring this an be as precise as possible.. Using a measuring tape or ruler, find the height and width of the picture you would like to frame. If you would like to put the picture straight into a frame then just input the exact size into our custom frame tool and we will manufacture a frame to that exact size.We always recommend the use of a picture mount when purchasing a picture frame. This gives a fantastic finish to your framed product and highlights the subject image. Please note that we will cut the picture mount 3mm smaller on each side so that it fits your image perfectly and so the image will not fall through the opening at any stage.
When purchasing a mounts from our website there is two important pieces of information required. Frame Size and image size. Frame size is the external size of your mount and the image size is the exact size of your image. The difference in those sizes is the border which is generally around 2 inches all around but can vary.
If you give us an image size 10 x 10in - we will cut the mount to be 9.75 x 9.75in. If you give us an image size of 200 x 200mm we will cut the mount opening to be 190 x 190mm. This ensures a perfect fit for your mount. If you require an exact opening then please note that on your order.
Please contact us if anything is unclear when selecting your size..
